Both airlift/tanker track and fighter/bomber track training continues at Columbus, Laughlin, or Vance Air Force Bases. Students selected to fly helicopters train in the TH-1H at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Approximately 160 students per year will be selected for duty flying Remotely Piloted Aircraft.

UPT is known as the Year of 50 weeks, as the course is incredibly fast paced and very demanding, so it is best to take UPT one week at a time.
