Is it free to be a member of the Nordic Young Designers Network?

Yes! The project is funded, which means Adorno takes care of all the organization and administration costs, and it is free for the academies and students.

I’m not sure if my piece falls into the objects for interiors category.

The focus of the Nordic Young Designers Network is Objects for Interior Design, such as furniture, lighting, textile and decorative objects. When in doubt, upload your project in your profile, submit for revision and we will evaluate it.

I have a piece that is not my graduation project, but I would like it to be uploaded to the platform.

Although the focus is on graduation projects, we will consider pieces produced one semester before your graduation date. Please make sure you include the year of production in the description.

Do I need professional footage of my project?

No, you can even use your smartphone. We recommend that photos have a minimum of 300 dpi as they can be used for press and 1080p for videos. The recommended aspect ratio for both cases is 16:9 (Horizontal) and 3:2 (Vertical).

I have not graduated from one of the five nordic design schools, can I still present my graduation project?

Unfortunately, we currently only accept projects from these Academies: Royal Danish Academy, Beckmans College of Design, University of Bergen, Aalto University and Iceland University of Arts. Hopefully soon we will accept projects from your academy. Feel free to send an email to [email protected], and we will contact the Academy Leader or Head of Department of your school and extend an invitation.
